جرت أولى المحاولات لتقدير سرعة الضوء بواسطة العالم أولاس رومرفى عام 1767 وتوصل إلى أنها تساوى 299792كم/الثانية .
وفى المؤتمر الدولى للمعايير المنعقد فى باريس عام 1983 أعلن العلماء أن سرعة الضوء تساوى :299792.458
كم/الثانية
وفي القرآن الكريم فى سورة السجدة الآية 5 يقول المولى سبحانه وتعالى :((يدبر الأمر من السماء إلي الأرض ثم يعرج إليه فى يوم كان مقداره ألف سنة مما تعدون ))
وبواسطة العالم الدكتور محمد دودح تم التوصل إلى سرعة الضوء فى القرإن الكريم :
توجد قاعدة عامة في الفيزياء تنص على أن
سرعة أى جسم =المسافة / الزمن
الزمن = زمن يوم أرضى = 86164.09966 ثانية
المسافة = مقدار ألف سنة من مسيرة القمر = 12000 دورة قمرية
وهي مسافة المجرة
التى يقطعها القمر فى مدار منعزل = 12000x متوسط السرعة المدارية للقمر x زمن الشهر القمرى
=12000x368207x0.89157x655.7198395
وبذلك تكون المسافة = 25.83134723 بليون كم
وبتطبيق المعادلة :
وذلك بقسمة رقم المسافة (25.831347230 بليون كم ) على رقم الزمن ( 86164.09966 ثانية ) تكون
سرعة الضوء تساوى = 299792.458 كم/الثانية
وهو نفس الرقم الذى توصل إليه العلماء وأعلن عنه في المؤتمر الدولى للمعايير المنعقد فى باريس عام 1983 بعد أكثر من ألف سنة
The first trials to estimate speed of light was at 1767 by Ole Rømer and was about 299792 km/sec.
In the General conference of weights and measures in Paris 1983 , it was announced that speed of light equals 299792.458 km/sec.
And in The Holy Quran ; Surat Alsajdah (The Prostration) Ayat 5
“ He manages and regulates (every) affair from the heavens to the earth; then it (affair) will go up to Him, in one Day, the space of Whereof is a thousand years of your reckoning (i.e. reckoning of our present world’s time).”

In physics :
Speed = distance / time
Time = time of one day on earth = 86164.09966 sec.
Distance = one thousand years of moon rotation
= 12000 moon cycles which equals distance of galaxy that moon passes in separate orbit
= X12000
average orbit speed of the moon X time of lunar month
=12000×368207×0. 89157×655. 7198395
So the distance is 25.83134723 billion km
And by application of equation :
By dividing the distance / time
25.83134723 billion Km / 86164.09966 sec.
So the speed of light will be 299792.458 km/sec.
And it is the same speed estimated by scientists and announced in Paris general conference of weights and measures 1983 after more than one thousand years
